Hello Community,
This is Day 2 of my –
“Staying Connected to Community”
For me it is important to find ways to feel and stay connected to others during this trying time. Feeling connected to others and to the community influences our overall emotional and relational health and that of others. I added a few of my own ideas here and hope to add to this list as I imagine what else I can do.

Send a card or note to a friend by mail. Support your postal workers.

Call or FaceTime at least one friend or family member each day to check-in.

Put together a small care package for a neighbor who may be in need.

Be mindful of those who are more vulnerable or struggling in your neighborhood.

As you go for a walk today, say hello to others and offer a warm smile.

Buy a gift card from a local restaurant and surprise someone with it.

Be mindfully attentive when listening to people. Take in what they are saying.
